Llola Lane - Artist for October 2012

"Halloween with Attitude" 3-D Graphic Artwork by Llola Lane

Llola Lane lives in Ohio with her husband and their 3 kitties. She works out of her home to create her graphic artwork. She uses the DAZ3d Studio Program to set up her characters, scenes, lighting, costumes and props and then snaps the picture. She then uses a drawing program to tweek the artwork.

Her inspiration for this exhibit is Halloween. With attitude... of course to make the exhibit more interesting. She has only been working with the DAZ3d program for 3 months and has 12 wonderful pieces of artwork on display at the gallery.

JudiLynn India - Artist for September 2012

Controlled Chaos Acrylic Paintings by JudiLynn India at the OZLAND Art Gallery

 JudiLynn India has been drawing since she could hold a crayon. She studied art throughout school, Commercial Art in high school and Graphic Design in college. After the turn of the century, she decided to focus HER creativity on acrylic and digital painting and has totally enjoyed the journey. Known in SL as JudiLynn India and RL as JUDILYNN, her mission is to share her vision and message as an artist with the global community. Her work embodies her spirit and personality. Her goal is to allow the viewer to experience the image with their own mind's eye. Her work is entirely intuitive. She gets lost in the layering of texture and color. Occasionally, she will include figurative work if her spirit is so presented with the composition. Just as there is order in the chaos of the universe, the energy within her is brought into focus one canvas at a time. HHB 1900's England Photography Exhibit by Sven Pertelson

HHB (Horace) was born in 1882 and moved to London as a teenager in 1900. He had many jobs... Builders Clerk, Carpenter and Taximeter repairer and he loved to photograph his everyday life.

The HHB Exhibit in OZLAND commemorates his memory. Sven Pertelson found Horaces' glass plate negatives whilst cleaning out a family shed. Over 200 plates were recovered and Sven vowed to the family to look at them and preserve those that were not too damaged by the years of neglect. That was  many years ago and now he has the equipment to do the job


This July we will remember Horace through his photographs. Sven has carefully cleaned and digitally enhanced 20 of his favorite photographs. Come back with us to 1900's England and see the world through Horace's box camera.

Sisse Singh's APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS Watercolors

Sisse is a Danish self-taught water colour Artist. She paints with water colors, goache, powder and ink. Her inspiration is in her local environment, the Danish landscapes and from her inner imagination, thoughts and dreams. Her exhibitions in RL include... Public and private Art Galleries, Culture locations, Government buildings, Banks, and different firms. Sisse uses SL to display all of her art that she has painted, although some art has been sold in RL. She likes to use SL as a archive of her works as well as her newest creations. You can see Sisse's Watercolor Flower Artwork at the OZLAND Art Gallery during the month of May as we present her "APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS" Exhibit. VISION THROUGH THE EYES of Faith Maxwell 3-D Sculpture Artwork at the OZLAND Art Gallery

 Faith Maxwell was born in Richmond, Virginia and now resides in Ohio. All her life she has been interested in art, of some form. She has taken classes in painting in a lot of different mediums, so when she came to SL she wanted to try her hand at sculptures. Her sculptures reflect her moods and feelings. "I put a lot of soul into my work," she says. Faith has exhibited in various SL galleries and venues, including Burning Life. And has been featured in several SL magazines. She has her own gallery called Faith Maxwell Sculpture Gallery and for the month of April, Faith will be the featured artist at the OZLAND Art Gallery. Come see Faith's wonderful 3-D Sculptures. She's even created a few NEW sculptures for this exhibit. Make sure you don't forget to take home the free gift waiting for you, at the OZLAND Art Gallery.

"SPRINGTIME IN THE SOUTHWEST" Photography by Soul Yheng in OZLAND

The OZLAND Art Gallery is celebrating "SPRINGTIME IN THE SOUTHWEST" with photography by Soul Yheng!

All photographs are taken by Soul and edited only to adjust exposure and color in Photoshop. His work "is influenced by the natural world and our place in it, the beauty of the human form and the reflection of that in nature." He has degrees in graphic design and photography and has had several photographs published in books, magazines, postcards and calendars. Many pieces are even hung in private homes and collections. Come have a look at his wonderful photographs during the month of March and make sure you take home the free gift he's made specially for guests to the exhibit.
